From now on, everyone can go ahead and use Dexie Cloud, see announcment on https://dexie.org/announcements/2024-03-27.

Thank you all who have been with me and build apps on Dexie Cloud.

Lower pricing threshold

We’ve lowered the threshold to get up running with Dexie Cloud Production. Instead of requiring to buy a 100-users subscription for $ 12, it’s now possible to start small with 25 users for $ 3 / month. So as soon as you want some real usage — be it a private group of beta testers or real users, it’s not expensive to start. See the new pricing page.

Collecting more success stories and apps

Now the next phase is starting — I want to make sure to do everything to make you — app devs — to succeed with your apps. My vision is to have a new page on dexie.org where we can list all apps that are ready enough to be launched or beta tested.

If you have an app you want us to feature on dexie.org, please post me an email on david@dexie.org and I’ll start collecting info. Some selling text, description of the app and a screen shot would be marvellous.

Planned improvements of Dexie Cloud

I’ve started a project on github.com/dexie/projects/4 for the coming 3 months, where I’ve listed important improvements where 2 of them will mean a lot:

  1. Optimized storage of large files
  2. Rich-text collaboration

The plan is to manage all work item for the next iteration of development.

Spread the word

Please help me spread the word about Dexie Cloud to more people: in tweets, blog posts, forums etc. The journey has just started.
